Job summary
Fichtner in Manila seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer as Consultant for HVDC power transmission. You will lead planning and implementation of HVDC projects, coordinate with international teams, and manage technical and contractual aspects on a global scale.
The role requires a Master or Bachelor in energy/electrical engineering with 5+ years of relevant HVDC experience, strong English skills and willingness to travel up to 25% for regional and international projects.
Qualifications
- Master or Bachelor in energy/electrical engineering required.
- At least five years of experience in a similar context, especially HVDC.
- Experience managing power transmission projects and coordinating teams.
- Business fluent in English and able to work internationally.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design and manage power transmission projects, especially HVDC.
- Upgrade or construct medium/high-voltage switchgear.
- Lead technical, contractual and commercial project management.
- Provide input for proposals and prepare planning/tender documents and feasibility studies.
- Evaluate bids and support project coordination and delivery.
