Job summary

MC GEOMETRIC PROPORTIONS INC. - together we build is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Designer to lead electrical design for buildings, industrial, and infrastructure projects. You will create layouts, circuits, and specifications, while ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and a licensed PE/REE are essential, with willingness to perform site visits. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to deliver technically sound,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE/PEE) as required by regulations.
• Experience in electrical engineering design for buildings, industrial, infra projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent software.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills.
• Ability to read multi-disciplinary drawings.
• Willingness to conduct site visits.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs, calculations, layouts, schematics, and single-line diagrams for assigned projects.
• Develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, grounding and protection.
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, specs, schedules, and design documents.
• Perform load, voltage-drop, short-circuit, cable sizing, and equipment sizing calculations.
• Select electrical equipment and materials based on standards and project needs.
• Review coordination drawings to ensure proper integration with other disciplines.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and clients on design requirements.
• Revise designs based on site conditions and client comments.
