Job summary

MicroSourcing International is seeking an Electrical Designer to develop MEP electrical designs and engineering documentation. The role requires collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and budget control across projects.

The candidate should have experience with AutoCAD MEP and Revit, knowledge of Building Codes, NEC, NFPA, and the ability to prepare comprehensive electrical plans and panels. Night shift with remote work setup is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to use AutoCAD MEP and Revit to produce design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD MEP and Revit for effective project design and implementation.
• Apply Building Codes, NEC, and NFPA standards.
• Develop power, lighting plans and riser diagrams.
• Perform electrical load calculations and panel schedules.
• Develop equipment and system specifications.
• Coordinate with owners, clients, architects and other consultants.
• Communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders.
• Contribute to engineering reports for existing buildings.
• Review equipment and submittals for project requirements.
• Respond to RFIs promptly and accurately.
• Complete MEP projects on time and within budget.
