Job summary

MBEN Electrical Products seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to plan, design, and review electrical systems and drawings. You will supervise installations, testing, and commissioning while ensuring PEC compliance and safety.

You will conduct site inspections, prepare technical reports, and mentor junior engineers, coordinating with managers, contractors, and clients to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed REE is required.
• At least 5 years in electrical engineering, project supervision, design, installation, or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, diagrams, and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and related design software.
• Knowledgeable in estimating, material takeoff, specs, and documentation.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willing to conduct site visits and fieldwork when required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and review electrical systems, layouts, schematics, and drawings.
• Supervise electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with PEC, standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, assessments, and quality checks.
• Prepare and review plans, reports, cost estimates, specs, and docs.
• Evaluate materials and equipment for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with management, contractors, suppliers, clients, and other engineers.
• Identify and resolve design issues and equipment failures.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, manpower, and material needs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Recommend improvements to energy efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Perform other related engineering duties as assigned.
