Job summary

SPX Express is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to handle ASM system design, electrical protection, and CCTV integration for ongoing projects in the Philippines. You will support tendering, assist the PM team during installation and commissioning, and develop detailed drawings and diagrams for the ASM system.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related engineering field and 2–3 years in automated environments; willingness to be stationed in Calamba, Laguna, is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation).
• 2–3 years of experience in automated warehouse or manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Willing to be assigned in Calamba, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical parts of the project, including ASM control and electrical systems.
• Support tendering: estimate budgets and evaluate vendor quotes.
• Assist PM team in ASM installation and commissioning; challenge vendor solutions.
• Prepare detailed drawings, QA, calculations, and installation methods for ASM.
• Review electrical docs such as load lists, cable lists, and single-line diagrams.
• Learn field control logic and electrical distribution from vendors.
• Establish preventive maintenance programs and inventory control.
• Oversee maintenance procedures, schedules, and spare parts procurement.
• Recommend solutions to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.
