Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a skilled Diffusion Equipment Engineer to support its Palm Bay, Florida facility. The role requires a strong background in diffusion equipment, mechanical and electronic skills, and the ability to lead maintenance and improvement efforts.

This is a hands-on, onsite position with opportunities for professional growth within a leader in high-performance analog semiconductors. You will own assigned diffusion equipment, monitor performance, update maintenance specs,

Qualifications

BS or equivalent in appropriate Engineering discipline.
Qualified work experience or military training may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

Owner/Subject Matter Expert for assigned Diffusion equipment.
Monitor and improve equipment performance (availability, throughput, line yield, cost of ownership).
Generate and update tool maintenance specifications as needed.
Assist and train technicians hands-on.
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems; define and implement solutions.
Design, test, and implement equipment improvements and modifications.
Identify and evaluate second source parts suppliers; address obsolescence issues.
Assist with equipment purchases, installations, relocations, and qualifications.
