Job summary

Gruppo EMS Inc. in Laguna, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Sr. Equipment Engineer with hands-on expertise in semiconductor Final Test equipment, Turret Handlers, and PnP machines.

The role focuses on troubleshooting, reliability, OEE improvement, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams. Preference for automation upgrades and NPI equipment qualification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Turret Handlers such as ExisTech and Ismeca NX.
• Experience with PnP machines such as Chroma, MT9510, and M4841.
• Strong skills in equipment troubleshooting, RCA, Why-Why Analysis, PDCA, and DMAIC.
• Knowledge of OEE, MTBA, downtime analysis, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability.
• Proficient in SPC, Pareto analysis, trend analysis, and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Experience in semiconductor Final Test is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and optimize semiconductor Final Test equipment.
• Drive equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and OEE improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop preventive maintenance and critical spare-parts strategies.
• Prepare equipment performance reports and improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.
