Job summary

Goods & Services seeks a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to build and maintain reliable infrastructure for scalable application delivery. The role emphasizes CI/CD automation, observability, and secure platform practices to enable teams to confidently deploy at scale.

Collaborate with engineering leadership to define deployment standards, traffic ramp strategies, and incident response, ensuring production readiness and robust runbooks.

Qualifications

• Solid AWS CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or equivalent in multi-service environments.

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain development, test, and production environments with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain platform security and observability (WAF, rate limiting, tracing, dashboards).
• Partner with leadership to define traffic ramps, release criteria, and stabilization periods.
• Build and maintain feature-flag infrastructure for controlled releases and safe rollbacks.
• Monitor event-driven infrastructure including queues, backups, and data integrity.
• Develop service reliability and integration monitoring with dashboards and alerts.
• Create runbooks and incident-response procedures for platform issues.
• Support staged production rollouts and validate traffic before cutover.
• Collaborate to establish deployment standards and production-readiness criteria.
