Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and maintain developer tooling such as Nx, Maven, and GitHub Actions. You will automate workflows across cloud and on‑prem environments, optimize deployment processes, and troubleshoot pipeline issues to improve release efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering, strong Git, YAML, and Terraform, plus experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud environments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Strong daily use of AI tools: Copilot and Gemini.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
• Core Skills – Git fundamentals, YAML, CICD concepts, Bash, Github Actions.
• Experience supporting frontend-based applications and services.
• Familiarity with cloud environments.
• GCP.
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Spinnaker - deployment mechanism for all of the cloud.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar).
• Strong understanding of Git workflows and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to enable scalable and reliable software delivery.
• Build and maintain developer tooling and build systems (Nx, Maven, GitHub Actions).
• Automate workflows across cloud and on‑prem/in‑store environments.
• Optimize build, test, and deployment processes to improve speed and reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues related to pipelines, deployments, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and release efficiency.
• Drive best practices for version control, pipeline standardization, and DevOps maturity.
