Job summary

iScale Solutions is seeking a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to drive reliability, scalability, and efficiency across production and development environments. You will lead major infrastructure and automation projects, improve tools and processes, and ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and operation of critical applications.

This role includes guiding CI/CD strategy, advancing IaC practices, and providing operational leadership across engineering teams, with emphasis on containerization and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, TechOps, or similar roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical projects or contributing as a technical lead.
• 3+ years working with containers and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS).
• Strong proficiency in shell scripting and at least one programming language (Python or Go).
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC tooling.
• Experience operating AWS production environments and monitoring/observability.
• Experience with security best practices and secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across infrastructure and automation projects.
• Drive automation and maintenance of performance testing and pre-production environments.
• Lead containerization efforts and champion Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Design and implement automation for engineering, deployment, and operational workflows.
• Define and execute HA and DR strategies.
• Architect, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple services.
• Create, maintain, and automate runbooks to improve operational consistency.
• Participate in and guide on-call support to ensure production stability.
