Job summary
Peek Travel Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance deployment reliability, reduce operational risk, and modernize our AWS infrastructure toward Kubernetes. This role is 100% remote, though candidates in US time zones are preferred (UTC-10 to UTC-4).
You will be part of a small, remote-first DevOps team focused on automation, observability, and secure, scalable infrastructure. We value strong English communication, SRE practices, and experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years as a DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer.
- Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Ruby, or Go for automation.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, Route53, S3, ECR, IAM, VPC, and Security Groups.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including troubleshooting EKS clusters.
Responsibilities
- Improve deployment reliability and reduce operational risk.
- Help modernize AWS infrastructure toward Kubernetes.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and occasionally work outside normal hours.
- Collaborate with teams to automate self-service and improve observability.
