Job summary

D2B is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for a fully remote role serving a digital agency. You will maintain and strengthen a Kubernetes-based hosting platform powering Drupal/Laravel apps, ensure reliability, security, and scalable automation, and collaborate with a small engineering team to deliver high-quality infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include migrating apps to Kubernetes, managing CI/CD, incident response, and contributing to security/compliance efforts.

Qualifications

Proven senior DevOps/SRE experience in similar roles.
Strong Linux admin skills; proficient in scripting (Bash/Python).
Hands-on Kubernetes, containerized workloads, Docker, AWS.
Experience migrating apps to Kubernetes; proficient CI/CD automation.
Familiar with Bitbucket Pipelines or similar.
Experience with automation tools like n8n; strong incident response.
Security, IAM, least-privilege, and governance knowledge.
Exposure to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Maintain a Kubernetes-based hosting platform and AWS infra for client apps.
Migrate/optimize client apps into Kubernetes environments.
Monitor health, incidents, outages, and security events; respond effectively.
Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments; support go-live activities.
Handle identity, access, and provisioning across Google Workspace, Atlassian, hosting, and VCS.
Support onboarding/offboarding, including device management.
Contribute to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 readiness; document controls.
