Job summary

Dyson seeks an experienced leader to drive end-to-end product development for significant new-to-Dyson offerings. You will own specifications, claims and technical requirements, providing clear leadership to resolve conflicts and deliver on time to maximise ROI.

You will manage product cost and project spend, influence go-to-market strategies, and ensure reliability and quality targets, while engaging operations and procurement for robust manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years’ experience managing technical or manufactured products end to end.
• Knowledge of multiple tooling and manufacturing techniques.
• Proven experience delivering robust design solutions on time, to specification and within cost and budget constraints.
• Project management capability including schedule and risk management is required.
• Experience delivering within a product development framework required.
• Experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering (hardware & software).
• Exposure to production operations, procurement, supply chain, marketing and sales required.
• Experience of managing people, mentoring, and coaching.

About you

Degree in Engineering or Science or demonstrate equivalent experience. Knowledge of Systems Engineering is preferred.

8+ years’ experience of managing technical or manufactured products end to end.

Knowledge and understanding of multiple tooling and manufacturing techniques.

Proven experience of delivering robust design solutions on time, to specification and within cost and budget constraints.

Project management capability including schedule and risk management is required.

Experience delivering within a product development framework required.

Experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering (hardware & software).

Exposure to production operations, procurement, supply chain, marketing and sales required.

Experience of managing people, mentoring, and coaching.
