Job summary

Wingman Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist – Defence & Intelligence to support recruitment across Australian and U.S. Defence, Intelligence, National Security, Aerospace, Government, and Space sectors.

You will partner with consultants to develop sourcing strategies, engage passive candidates, build high-quality pipelines, and support specialist, hard-to-fill roles in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of agency recruitment or sourcing experience.
• Experience recruiting within Defence, Intelligence, National Security, Government, Aerospace, or Defence Industry sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Source specialist professionals across Defence, Intelligence, National Security, Cyber Security, Engineering, ICT, Space, Infrastructure, Construction, and Technical disciplines.
• Identify and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, referrals, and advanced sourcing techniques.
• Build and maintain strategic talent pipelines for active and future recruitment projects.
• Conduct market mapping and competitor research across Defence and Intelligence sectors.
• Screen candidates against technical skills, security clearance requirements, and role suitability.
• Deliver high-quality candidate longlists aligned with client requirements.
