Job summary

Quikr seeks an experienced Network Data Centre Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise and data centre networks in the Philippines. You will work with Cisco Routing & Switching on Catalyst and Nexus platforms and contribute to data centre modernization initiatives.

The role requires hands-on VMware NSX networking, DFW configurations, wireless technologies, and firewall knowledge, with a solid understanding of DNS and SD-WAN architectures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of expert-level Cisco Routing & Switching experience.
• Hands-on with Catalyst and Nexus data center switches.
• 4+ years implementing enterprise wireless technologies.
• Experience deploying VMware NSX and NSX DFW.
• Knowledge of DNS and SD-WAN architectures.
• Familiarity with network firewalls and load balancers.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, implement, and support enterprise and data centre network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and migrate Cisco Routing & Switching solutions on Catalyst and Nexus.
• Implement and support VMware NSX networking, including DFW configurations.
• Deploy and maintain enterprise wireless network solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot network firewalls and assist with security policy implementation.
• Support network deployments, upgrades, migrations, and cutovers.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud teams and produce runbooks.
