Job summary

Vestas in Pasay, Philippines seeks a Network Operations Professional to join its Data Center Network team. You will implement new services, maintain infrastructure, and manage day-to-day operations across a hybrid data center network.

You will work with Azure Cloud, VMware NSX, Citrix NetScaler, and Cisco Nexus ACI, with on-call weekend rotations in a 24/5 setup. This mid-level role requires a senior mindset and mentorship for junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise routing, switching, and security platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and fix complex network problems at an intermediate to advanced level.
• Experience with the development and support of large enterprise networks, particularly in SDN portfolios such as Cisco ACI and cloud networking.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field; relevant certifications such as VMware VCIX/NV, Citrix, or Cisco CCNP are a plus.
• Experience in key platforms such as Azure Cloud, Citrix Netscaler, VMware NSX, and Cisco ACI (Nexus 9000).
• Experience with Cisco equipment such as ISR4xxx, ASR1xxx, C8x00, and Catalyst switches.
• Experience in managing and supporting firewall platforms such as Check Point; familiarity with Cisco Firepower (FTD/FMC).
• Knowledge of network automation using Python, Ansible, or comparable tools; strong interest in automation.

Responsibilities

• Implement new services and platforms; maintain installed infrastructure; handle day-to-day operations (request, change, incident).
• Focus on Data Center Hybrid Network Services; Azure Cloud Network Infrastructure, VMware NSX, Citrix NetScaler, and Cisco ACI.
• Operate as a mid-level engineer with a senior attitude; guide junior profiles in the team.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to plan and execute platform development; oversee day-to-day tasks with fellow engineers.
• Work in a 24/5 global setup with scheduled but changing hours; participate in on-call weekend rotations.
