Job summary

Trends Group, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to design, implement, and secure enterprise databases, ensuring high availability and disaster readiness.

You will administer multiple RDBMS including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, and drive performance improvements. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in DBA roles, strong scripting (PowerShell, Bash), Linux/Windows administration, and familiarity with cloud DB services and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5-8 years of database administration experience.
• Strong expertise in database security, performance tuning, high availability, and backup/recovery.
• Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration, PowerShell, Bash, and automation/scripting.
• Experience in ISO-compliant environments is an advantage.
• Experience with cloud DB services (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or Google Cloud SQL).
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions; Docker and Kubernetes.
