Job summary

Trends Group in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Database Administrator to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise database systems. You will ensure high availability, backup, recovery, and disaster readiness while aligning with ISO standards and internal policies.

You will administer SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL; optimize performance; manage security and access; support change management and incident resolution; document procedures and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–8 years of database administration experience.
• Strong expertise in database security, performance tuning, high availability, and backup/recovery.
• Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration, PowerShell, Bash, and automation/scripting.
• Experience in ISO-compliant environments is an advantage.
• Experience with Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or Google Cloud SQL.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Relevant database or system administration certifications.
