Hexaware Technologies Philippines Branch is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of advanced algorithms, geospatial intelligence solutions, and data-driven tools that enhance subsea fiber optic performance and reliability.

The role blends machine learning, geospatial analytics, data engineering, and software development to support research, operational decision-making, and workflow automation. Collaboration across R&D, engineering, and business teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven Python data science stack experience: NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on with geospatial tools/platforms such as GeoPandas, Google Earth Engine and QGIS.
• Experience building and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Web apps/APIs development using Streamlit, FastAPI, Flask or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced algorithms and data pipelines using ML and statistics.
• Improve performance and reliability of subsea fiber optic infrastructure through data-driven solutions.
• Perform advanced geospatial analyses to map and optimize subsea cable routes.
• Create visualizations and communicate insights to technical and business stakeholders.
• Develop, validate, and deploy ML and statistical models in production environments.
• Build internal tools including web apps, REST APIs, CLI utilities, and automation scripts.
• Architect scalable data pipelines and manage large datasets for analytics and model development.
• Apply LLMs to automate workflows and extract insights from structured/unstructured data sources.
• Collaborate across R&D, engineering, and business teams to translate findings into practical solutions.
