Job summary

Shopee Philippines is seeking an Analyst to support Mall Acquisition, Incubation, and Offsite teams by delivering insights from data and conducting in-depth analyses to guide planning and decision-making.

You will collect, analyze, and report on data trends, develop dashboards, and present findings to stakeholders. The role requires strong technical skills, independent work, and the ability to translate data into business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in data analysis, preferably in a business or marketing analytics role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proven ability to work independently and navigate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business impact.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
• Data-driven mindset with a strong focus on performance and results.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that effectively communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify data-related issues impacting business processes and operational efficiency. Identify and propose improvements to existing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies - including ad hoc reports, data standardization, data cleaning, and process automation - that ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and integrity.
• Perform statistical analysis and modeling to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and visualizations to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with the Mall Acquisition, Incubation, and Offsite teams to understand their requirements and provide proactive analytical support.
• Conduct research and gather market intelligence to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscapes.
