Job summary

Shopee Philippines is seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Analyst to develop ad hoc analyses or reports and communicate insights to business teams. You will capture high-level and detailed requirements through interviews with other departments and collaborate on reporting and data-related projects.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in data analysis, advanced Excel and SQL skills, Python a plus, and strong project management abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Economics, Finance, CS, IT, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in data analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL skills; Python a plus.
• Detail-oriented with proven project management skills.
• Open to flexible arrangements during campaign/ peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Develop ad hoc analyses or reports and communicate insights to business teams.
• Capture requirements through interviews with departments and collaborate on reporting projects.
• Provide support to BI reporting infrastructure and assist users in finding information.
• Develop new and update existing reports.
• Drive standardization of data metrics leveraging data- and business process knowledge.
• Be a liaison between Shopee PH and BI engineers to ensure proper requirements.
• Determine opportunities for automation using different technologies.
• Learn and develop new processes to improve reporting tools and systems.
• Manage and maintain Service Level Agreements of different third-party companies.
