Job summary

Nicoll Curtin seeks a Senior Data Engineer to join a global payments and technology company. You will build data pipelines, improve data processing, and bring data pipelines into production in Metro Manila.

The role requires 5+ years of experience and expertise with Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Redis, NoSQL or RDBMS, plus proficiency in Python, SAS, or R. You will deploy code to production and support real-time systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering.
• Degree in CS/CE/IT or related field.
• Proficient with data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Redis, NoSQL or RDBMS.
• Experience deploying code to production.
• Experience implementing and supporting real-time systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support business needs.
• Develop, test, and deploy code using established engineering standards.
• Work with client stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Validate data quality and ensure data security and compliance.
• Support real-time data systems and integrate data across platforms.
