Job summary

ScalableOS is seeking a Data Engineer in the Philippines to design, build, and maintain modern data solutions for analytics, AI, and reporting. You will focus on scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating client source systems to support data quality and performance.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, PySpark and cloud data platform experience, plus the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL, Python and PySpark for data processing.
• Experience designing and maintaining production data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT patterns and cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with data governance, quality, and lineage concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on cloud platforms.
• Build medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) data layers.
• Develop pipelines with Spark notebooks, lakehouses and related tech.
• Connect source systems and enforce data quality standards.
• Optimize pipelines for reliability, scalability and performance.
• Integrate ERP/CRM/SaaS data sources and maintain integrations.
