Bring strong programming skills (Python, Scala, or Java) and experience with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala or Java.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka for big data pipelines.
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud data services on AWS, Azure or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and implement appropriate solutions.
• Optimize data models and query performance to ensure efficient data access and processing.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of data systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
