Job summary
Mace is seeking aSenior Data Engineer in the Philippines (Makati area) to join our Digital Centre of Excellence. You will build and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, design the lakehouse and data warehouse layers, and collaborate with BI developers to deliver trusted data for client projects.
You will interface with project teams and stakeholders, write optimized SQL and PySpark code, and implement CI/CD in Azure DevOps.
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and related Azure data services.
- 3+ years of data engineering experience.
- Strong SQL and Python (PySpark) skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
- Design lakehouse and warehouse layers; model consumption layers for BI.
- Interpret source system specs and agree data requirements with stakeholders.
- Develop, optimize and troubleshoot transformations in PySpark and SQL.
- Establish and operate CI/CD for Fabric in Azure DevOps across environments.
- Validate data against source systems and report findings clearly.
- Follow structured development lifecycle from requirements to post-implementation support.
- Engage in training and keep up-to-date with industry practices.
