Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and scale our SQL data ecosystem on an Azure-first platform in Makati. The role emphasizes building scalable data pipelines, data governance, and cost optimization while collaborating with Data Science, Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams.

You will architect ELT/ETL, implement observability, and contribute to data products powering BI, ML, and customer-facing applications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Proven ownership of production-grade SQL databases and data pipelines.
• Strong Azure cloud experience and data platform architecture skills.
• Ability to design scalable ELT/ETL solutions and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale SQL data ecosystem across Azure-based platform.
• Architect modern data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
• Lead data enrichment, semantic modeling, and product APIs for BI and ML use.
• Implement data governance, security, observability, and cost controls.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams.
