Job summary

Adventure Consultancy Solutions Philippines Inc. seeks a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize an Azure-based data platform powering modernization of the bank-wide financial projection system, with Databricks and Power BI/Tableau reporting across the enterprise.

You will design scalable data pipelines and data lake/warehouse architectures on Azure, implement CI/CD automation, and apply Terraform IaC while collaborating with product delivery teams in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or related field.
• Azure cloud experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• IaC with Terraform.
• Databricks, Python and PySpark data pipeline development.
• PostgreSQL and enterprise data source integration.

About the Role

Our client, an international development finance institution, is modernizing its bank-wide financial projection system - moving from Excel/VBA and legacy database tables onto a scalable Azure Data Ecosystem architecture.

As Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize the enterprise data platform that powers this transformation, from Azure-based pipelines through Databricks and Power BI/Tableau reporting.

What You'll Do

• Design and maintain scalable, secure data pipelines and data lake/warehouse architecture on Azure.
• Implement modern data engineering tools and frameworks — Databricks, Azure Data Factory.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data platform performance and reliability.
• Prepare high-level and detailed technical designs for data solutions.
• Apply CI/CD automation and software development best practices.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years in data engineering, platform engineering, or software engineering.
• Proven Azure cloud experience, including CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Hands-on Databricks, Python, and PySpark data pipeline development.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL and enterprise data source integration.
