Job summary

Emma is seeking a Senior Customs Manager to own all customs processes in APAC markets, ensuring smooth import and export operations, full regulatory compliance, and a compliant, delay-free supply chain in collaboration with our global teams. You will partner with internal teams and external service providers, report to the Senior Team Lead Customs, and be the single point of contact for customs offices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in APAC customs within logistics or retail, strong tariffs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working on customs topics in logistics or retail.
• Deep knowledge of APAC preferential trade schemes, global tariff, and tax implications.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for all customs-related topics; ensure compliance with all regulations and documentation.
• Handle import and export processes in day-to-day operations and maintain customs status/authorizations.
• Develop and monitor supplier declarations; assist planning, organizing and dispatching freight (SEA, Rail, Air).

About the role:

We are looking for a SeniorCustomsManager to take full ownership of all customs‑related processes in ourAPACmarkets. You’llensure that our import and export processes run smoothly, that weare always compliant, and that our supply chain flow functions without delays, working with and in a global team with our headquarter in Frankfurt and offices in Lisbon and Mexico.

At the same time, you act as a sparring partner for internal teams and our external service providers, reporting directly to ourSenior Team Lead Customs.

What You’ll Do:

• You are our point of contact for all customs‑related topics and are responsible for compliance with all legal customs regulations and their documentation.
• You fulfill all customs‑related processes (import and export) in day‑to‑day business.
• You maintain the existing customs status/ authorizations as well as the development of related processes.
• You are the single point of contact to the customs offices.
• You create and monitor correct supplier declarations.
• You support planning, organizing and dispatching freight with a focus on intermodal transports (SEA, Rail, Air) and monitor their appropriate fulfillment.

Who We’re Looking For:

• You have 5+ years of experience working on Customs topics, ideally in the Logistics or Retail industry.
• You’re experienced in dealing with APAC preferential trade schemes, Global Tariff, and Tax implications, Tariffs and Tax matters.
• You have a deep knowledge of customs regulations across APAC to support Customs audits.
• You’re action‑driven and possess the ability to act in a changing environment and are hands‑on.
• You are well organized, can prioritize, and have strong communication skills.
