Job summary

Eggs Unlimited is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to turn complex costing data into clear, actionable insights for inventory, margins, and profitability.

You will own cost reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting, partnering with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to drive improvements. This fast-growing, remote-friendly role supports scalable processes and ERP initiatives across a global business. Operate with ownership to build financial infrastructure for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Significant experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, manufacturing accounting, retail accounting, or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on cost accounting standards and best practices.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review inventory movements, standard vs actual costs, and variances.
• Support ERP implementation and integration to improve costing data accuracy.
• Maintain accurate financial records and collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Accounting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports, budgets, forecasts, and cost audits.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, including packaging.
• Perform account reconciliations for variance accounts.
• Maintain and analyze cost data, ensuring proper allocation of labor, materials, and overhead.
