Job summary

Morgan McKinley Manila seeks a Lead Management Accountant to act as the technical authority for direct costs, balance sheet integrity, and financial attestations. This senior individual contributor role operates at Level 6, focusing on process mastery, intercompany and cost-accounting challenges end-to-end.

You will mentor peer analysts, drive automation with Finance Systems and IT, and ensure audit-ready substantiations while maintaining IAS 16/38 asset oversight.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (CPA/ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent finance background.
• Experience in core cost management, record-to-report in SSC or multinational environment.
• Hands-on ERP experience (Oracle) and OneStream; strong data mastery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical SME for group accounting policies, ERP systems, and reporting standards.
• Manage global intercompany accounting and reconciliations across service companies.
• Shape regional flash and monthly reporting with clear cost analysis and variances.
• Maintain monthly Global Financial Control Attestations for Cost Management; ensure audit-proof substantiations.
• Provide guidance on accruals, prepayments, fixed assets (IAS 16/38) and VAT/tax basics.
• Review and approve PO allocation and CAPEX vs OPEX determinations.
• Champion automation with Finance Systems/IT to reduce month-end bottlenecks.
