Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is hiring a Senior Corporate Accountant in Pampanga. The role requires night shift work from our office location in Angeles, Philippines.

You will reconcile bank accounts, code cash transactions to GL, and support treasury operations. You will analyze balance sheets and income statements, prepare journal entries, and assist audits. The position demands 3–5 years’ accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of total accounting experience, including cash accounting and GL accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; detail-oriented.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and a track record of process improvement.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Reconcile all domestic and international bank accounts on a weekly and monthly basis, and maintain supporting reconciliation schedules
• Analyze and code cash transactions weekly to the correct GL accounts
• Support Treasury with opening and closing bank accounts
• Investigate and resolve cash-related discrepancies
• Build cash mapping rules to support ongoing automation

Investments & interest

• Analyze interest-bearing accounts and accrue interest income as needed
• Analyze monthly investment activity and prepare related journal entries
• Help operationalize new cash or investment products (e.g., time deposits, investmentportfolios,hedging)

Close & reporting

• Compile account information and prepare monthly cash journal entries
• Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
• Account for monthly promotions activity, including multiple journal entries and deferred schedules
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and supporting schedules
• Assist with ad hoc research, clean-up, and reporting projects

Non-negotiable skills and requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3–5 years of total accounting experience, including cash accounting and GL accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; detail-oriented
