The Senior Consultant - International Hiring will lead end-to-end recruitment engagements for clients hiring talent across international markets. The role will manage client relationships, develop talent search strategies, identify and assess qualified candidates, and contribute to business development initiatives that grow the firm's international hiring portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
International Recruitment & Search
- Lead end-to-end recruitment assignments for mid- to senior-level roles across international markets.
- Develop sourcing strategies based on the target market, role requirements, and available talent pool.
- Identify, engage, and assess qualified candidates through direct sourcing, referrals, professional networks, and other channels.
- Conduct competency-based interviews and prepare candidate assessments and profiles for clients.
- Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding support.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and future international hiring requirements.
Client & Account Management
- Serve as a recruitment partner to clients and understand their business, organizational needs, and hiring priorities.
- Lead role briefings and provide insights on talent availability, compensation, and market conditions.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide timely updates on search progress.
- Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Identify opportunities to expand services or support additional hiring requirements within existing accounts.
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for international recruitment and executive search services.
- Build relationships with prospective clients and decision-makers across target industries and markets.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and discussions to understand hiring needs and position the firm’s recruitment solutions.
- Develop proposals, recruitment solutions, and terms of engagement in collaboration with the team.
- Conduct market and industry research to identify potential clients, sectors, and hiring opportunities.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events, professional platforms, and other business development channels.
- Contribute to achieving business development and revenue targets.
- Conduct talent mapping and market research across relevant international markets.
- Provide insights on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, competitor organizations, and hiring trends.
- Develop and maintain market maps and candidate databases for key sectors and functions.
- Monitor international recruitment trends and developments that may affect client hiring strategies.
Search Delivery & Quality
- Ensure recruitment assignments are delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Track search progress, candidate activity, and recruitment metrics.
- Proactively identify challenges in the search and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure a positive and professional experience for both clients and candidates.
- Work closely with consultants, researchers, and recruitment team members to deliver international search assignments.
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members on sourcing, candidate assessment, and international recruitment practices.
- Contribute to the development of recruitment methodologies, tools, and market intelligence resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in recruitment, executive search, talent acquisition, or a related field, preferably with international hiring exposure.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment assignments across different countries or markets.
- Experience in client management and/or business development is preferred.
- Strong sourcing, candidate assessment, and market-mapping capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable engaging with senior-level candidates and business leaders.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify business opportunities.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn, recruitment platforms, applicant tracking systems, and other sourcing tools.
