Job summary

Polarr Azanje Construction Inc. seeks a seasoned QA/QC Manager with a civil engineering background to lead project quality assurance and control on site. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction QA/QC and proven supervisory experience.

You will ensure all works meet approved plans and standards, review method statements and ITPs, supervise QA/QC staff, manage non-conformances, and contribute to the Quality Management System (QMS) upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
• 5+ years QA/QC experience in construction; managerial/supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, specifications, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.
• Experience in QA/QC systems, inspections, material testing, and non-conformance management.
• ISO 9001/QMS knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be assigned to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the implementation of the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control program.
• Ensure all construction works comply with approved plans, specifications, standards, and project requirements.
• Review and monitor Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), RFIs, material submittals, and other QA/QC documents.
• Supervise QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors and ensure proper inspection and documentation.
• Monitor material testing, inspections, and quality records.
• Identify, document, and resolve non-conformities and prevent recurring quality issues.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients regarding quality-related concerns.
• Ensure proper preparation and submission of QA/QC reports and project documentation.
• Support the implementation and continual improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
