Establishing and maintaining quality standards on the construction site and in related project documentation. This role ensures that all materials, workmanship, and on-site activities meet the required specifications, codes, and client expectations. The QA/QC Engineer also coordinates with site teams, project engineers, and external inspectors to uphold the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality results safely and efficiently.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (licensed Civil Engineer preferred).
- Experience:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC or site engineering roles.
- Familiarity with construction standards, test methods (ASTM, ACI, etc.), and local building codes.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with QA/QC software, D365, and Procore.
- Ability to interpret engineering plans and technical specifications.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication in English (report writing, coordination with site teams).
- Effective in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (PEs, subcontractors, inspectors).
- Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying and resolving quality issues.
- Able to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and coordination.
