Job summary

Singlife Philippines is seeking a Legal & Compliance professional to implement and enhance the company’s compliance framework across regulatory, AML/CTF, data privacy, corporate governance, and distribution requirements. The role supports the Legal function in contract administration and corporate secretarial matters, reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance.

Responsibilities include policy development, monitoring, risk assessment, and governance reporting to regulators and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of compliance, AML/CFT, risk management, internal controls, audit, or related functions, preferably in insurance/financial services fintech.
• Certifications such as CAMS, CRCM, Data Privacy, Fraud Risk Management, Compliance, Audit or similar preferred.
• Familiarity with Insurance Commission, AMLC, NPC, SEC, and other regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the compliance program across regulatory, AML/CTF, data privacy, corporate governance, and distribution.
• Develop, review, and monitor policies, procedures, controls, and monitoring programs.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, control reviews, and thematic reviews to identify gaps.
• Perform risk assessments and analyze emerging regulatory/compliance risks.
• Provide contract support and related legal documentation review and execution.
• Support corporate secretarial activities and governance reporting.
• Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and governance submissions.
• Provide administrative support to the Legal & Compliance function.
