Boomering Inc. is seeking a Senior Commercial Estimator to take ownership of the estimating function for UK-linked projects while working from home. You will review drawings, prepare cost estimates, and manage tenders with minimal supervision.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field and at least 5 years in commercial estimating for principal contractors. You will collaborate with directors, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate, competitive

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, QS, Civil Engineering or related.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Commercial Estimator role.
• Previous experience with a Principal Contractor on commercial projects is essential.
• Experience pricing projects from ~£250k to £1.5m.

Aufgaben

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates from drawings and specs.
• Produce detailed quantity take-offs for labour, materials and plant.
• Manage the complete tender process from enquiry to submission.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers for best value.
• Develop and maintain estimating documentation and cost databases.
• Collaborate with Directors during pre-construction to secure opportunities.
• Attend client meetings when required and present proposals.
