Job summary

MBPS is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Manager to join our Global Tech team. You will guide access control, RBAC design, and secure-by-default configurations while rolling out automated access reviews and enforcement across engineering teams.

You will lead technical briefings and cross-region collaborations, define the rollout strategy, and ensure security balance with operational efficiency. Hybrid work setup with onsite presence in Quezon City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or equivalent.
• 7+ years in cloud engineering, platform/DevOps, or cloud security roles.
• 7+ years with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, AliCloud) including IAM/RBAC and infra patterns.
• Strong security mindset with knowledge of access management frameworks and least privilege.
• Automation-first mindset; writes automation to streamline tasks and workflows.
• Experience with Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Python; CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform) and platform delivery models.
• Ability to balance security with operational needs; strong communication.
• Amenable to work at UP Ayala Technohub, Quezon City; hybrid 3x onsite; shift flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME in access control and cloud-native patterns.
• Own intake channels for access requests and exceptions.
• Lead automation rollout for access reviews and enforcement.
• Drive adoption across engineering teams and change management.
• Lead briefings, workshops, and demos with North America teams.
• Define rollout strategy and transition to hard enforcement.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to balance security and efficiency.
• Track adoption and automation success metrics.
• Handle exceptions post-adoption with rationale and traceability.
