Job summary

VBP Back Office Solutions Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer to administer and troubleshoot enterprise cloud, identity, endpoint, collaboration, and infrastructure platforms.

You will act as a Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex incidents, with a focus on production stability and continuous improvement across Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and AVD. The role requires strong PowerShell automation skills and collaboration with IT, MSPs, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Infrastructure, Systems, Cloud, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Proven experience resolving production incidents in enterprise environments (Tier 2/3).
• Deep understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.
• Experience with Intune, Windows Autopilot, endpoint management, and device compliance.
• Entra ID administration including Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Windows Server and Active Directory administration knowledge.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust security principles and SIEM concepts.
• Backup/DR platforms like Acronis or SpinOne experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Azure and Microsoft 365 services in production.
• Act as Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex platform incidents.
• Investigate and resolve issues across Azure, Entra ID, and SaaS platforms.
• Manage identity and access services, including MFA and RBAC.
• Support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and related services.
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Administer Intune, Autopilot, and device lifecycle operations.
• Troubleshoot endpoint management across Windows devices.
• Support backup/recovery platforms and disaster recovery testing.
• Monitor platform health and perform RCA to aid problem management.
• Develop runbooks, technical docs, and automation with PowerShell.
