Job summary

TP ICAP Philippines in Taguig invites an experienced Senior Cloud and Platform Engineer to shape our AWS-based infrastructure. You will lead platform engineering, automate with CDK/ Terraform, and drive DevSecOps with GitLab and Nexus.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, collaborate across teams on AI integration, and stay ahead of cloud-native patterns and security best practices. Role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery, and governance adherence in a dynamic financial services

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS expertise including cloud automation, security best practices, cost optimisation.
• Strong programming background with experience in developing automated solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, Go and PowerShell.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and containerization (EKS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on with CDK and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Bedrock, TensorFlow and PyTorch for AI solutions.
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging: Grafana, CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack.
• Security/compliance awareness in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in cloud contexts.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities for technical projects and teams.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering in AWS: Design, implement, and optimize AWS-based platform solutions.
• Automation & IaC: Develop infrastructure automation using CDK and Terraform.
• DevSecOps Enablement: Build scalable DevSecOps with GitLab and Nexus; scripting in Python, Go, PowerShell.
• Collaborate to integrate generative AI solutions into existing systems.
• Stay updated on cloud distributed systems and AI technologies and methods.
• Lead cloud/platform projects delivering securely and efficiently per governance.
• Provide architectural guidance and ensure governance compliance.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues and mentor team members.
• Share knowledge and best practices across cross-functional teams.
