Job summary

Nityo Infotech in Metro Manila seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure. You will independently provision cloud resources for Active Directory and enterprise apps, building secure, scalable environments.

Key duties include deployment of AD domain controllers, storage, networks, security, monitoring, backup, and connectivity. Strong focus on IAM/RBAC and cloud security best practices.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure/Cloud Engineering.
• AWS AWS cloud platform experience and provisioning skills.
• Experience provisioning infrastructure for Active Directory and/or enterprise apps.
• Strong understanding of compute, storage, networking, DNS, and security.
• Knowledge of hybrid connectivity and on-premises integration.

Responsibilities

• Independently provision and configure cloud infrastructure resources per AD/application requirements.
• Design and deploy cloud environments for AD, Domain Controllers, and enterprise apps.
• Manage resources such as storage, VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and DNS.
• Implement IAM/RBAC, encryption, and cloud security hardening.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in designing, provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure.

The candidate should be capable of working independently to provision and configure cloud resources required by Active Directory and enterprise applications. The role will involve end‑to‑end cloud infrastructure setup, including compute, storage, networking, identity, security, monitoring, backup, and application connectivity.

The ideal candidate should be able to take infrastructure requirements from application/AD teams and independently build a secure, scalable, and production‑ready cloud environment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently provision and configure cloud infrastructure resources based on AD and application requirements.
• Design and deploy cloud environments for Active Directory / Domain Controllers and enterprise applications.
• Provision and manage cloud resources such as:
• Storage
• Virtual Networks / VPC
• Subnets
• Network Security Groups / Security Groups
• Load Balancers
• Firewalls
• Public and Private IPs
• DNS
• Key Management / Secrets
• Build cloud infrastructure that can be consumed by Active Directory, application, database, and middleware teams.
• Configure cloud networking, including VNet/VPC, subnets, routing, VPN, peering, DNS, and connectivity.
• Support deployment of Windows Server workloads and Active Directory Domain Controllers in cloud environments.
• Configure cloud resources to support AD replication, authentication, DNS, domain services, and hybrid connectivity where required.
• Integrate cloud infrastructure with on‑premises Active Directory and enterprise environments.
• Configure site‑to‑site VPN, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, or equivalent hybrid connectivity.
• Implement appropriate IAM/RBAC, security groups, network controls, encryption, and access policies.
• Apply cloud security hardening and best practices to infrastructure resources.
• Configure and manage cloud storage, including appropriate performance, availability, access, and backup requirements.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and health checks for cloud infrastructure.
• Configure backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high‑availability solutions for critical workloads.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues involving compute, networking, storage, DNS, authentication, connectivity, and security.
• Work closely with Active Directory, application, network, security, and database teams to understand infrastructure requirements and deliver required cloud resources.
• Support cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and application onboarding activities.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, configuration standards, and operational runbooks.
• Follow change management, incident management, problem management, and security/compliance processes.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in Cloud Infrastructure / Cloud Engineering.
• Strong experience in at least one major cloud platform:
• AWS
• Strong hands‑on experience with cloud resource provisioning and configuration.
• Experience provisioning cloud infrastructure for Active Directory and/or enterprise applications.
