Job summary

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation Philippine Branch is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a World Bank-funded school retrofitting project in Metro Manila. You will oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to plans, specs, safety standards, and schedules.

The ideal candidate holds a civil engineering license, has at least 10 years of experience (5+ in retrofitting), and can coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer.
• Minimum of 10 years total experience.
• At least 5 years of retrofitting experience.
• Experience with World Bank, ADB, JICA, or other foreign-assisted infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee overall project implementation and construction activities.
• Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and personnel.
• Coordinate with the Client, Consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures when necessary.
• Oversee quality assurance, environmental compliance, and occupational health and safety.
• Review and approve project reports, progress updates, and technical submissions.
• Identify and manage project risks, delays, and implementation issues.
