Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to elicit stakeholder needs, clarify requests, and translate them into epics, features, and user stories that align with business goals. You will lead end-to-end requirements management, document processes and data mappings, support Agile delivery, and liaise across business, actuarial, operations, and technology teams to drive successful outcomes.

Experience in regulated environments, strong facilitation, and proficiency with Jira/Confluence

Qualifications

8+ years of IT industry experience and 5+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
Experience supporting Agile delivery teams and ceremonies.
Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
Experience partnering with QA/QE teams to support testing and UAT.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end requirements management from discovery through implementation and post-release support.
Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, system, and data requirements.
Translate business requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders across business, product, engineering, and compliance.
Analyze existing processes and create process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation.
Support solution design by identifying integrations, data mappings, and dependencies.
