Responsibilities

Job description

The purpose of this document is to define statement of work requirements for a Senior Business Analyst (BA) to effectively contribute to the project, the Senior BA will play a key role in getting an in-depth understanding of business processes, requirements and applications, and conduct quality assurance tasks in the context of the implementation.

Scope of Work/Responsibilities

The Senior BA will work with the end users on the operations solution for

Specifically, the business analyst will:

• 1.Perform deep dive learning of existing processes, captured requirements, design specifications and applications in relation to operations.
• 2.develop additional necessary requirements document for the project, if applicable.
• 3.assist in the preparation and review of test cases, test scenarios and test scripts against defined requirements.
• 4.coordinate with testing team and assist users with User Acceptance Testing.
• 5.participate in monitoring and managing bug fixes/issues and their resolution.
• 6.engage with vendor(s) for requirements elaboration, solution design and review, quality assurance and issue resolution.

The Senior BA will work with existing project team including stakeholders from business, vendor, and technical subject matter experts, including integration when needed, within the ecosystem.

Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting, or any related course
• At least 8 years of solid experience in business analysis and 3 years in a senior business analysis role
• 5 years of experience in banking, accounting, financial services sector
• 5 years of experience in designing and documenting business processes
• 5 years of experience in quality assurance and testing IT applications
• Good exposure in financial audit and process audit frameworks and practices
• Knowledge on public expenditure and financial accountability framework and mechanisms
• Good understanding development process is an advantage
• Must be conversant with project management lifecycle and systems development cycle
• Knowledgeable in Agile and Waterfall Methodology
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Technology Stack such as SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, and Power BI
• Proven vendor management skills and experience
• Strong stakeholder communication and management skills
• Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
