Job summary

Eleven International | Strategic Tech PR Agency for USA, UK, China, SEA Markets is seeking a remote, Philippines-based Bookkeeper to own the books for two entities and deliver accrual and cash basis reporting, plus forecasting to leadership.

This hands-on role requires strong US bookkeeping experience, high-volume reconciliation, and proactive daily communication with leadership and our CPA. Day shifts in the Philippines, with remote collaboration for US/UK entities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional bookkeeping experience.
• Hands-on experience with US bookkeeping and accounting practices for US-based clients or employers.
• Strong working knowledge of accrual vs. cash basis accounting and when each applies.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Experience preparing monthly financial statements and AR/AP aging reports.
• Proven record reconciling high transaction volumes, including backdated cleanup projects.
• Experience building cash flow forecasts or budgets, with a clear, explainable method.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Clear, structured written English and proactive daily communication.

Responsibilities

• Record, categorize and reconcile all transactions for the US and other entities.
• Complete monthly bank, credit card and payment-processor reconciliations for both entities.
• Clean up and reconcile large volumes of backdated transactions with vendor research and documentation.
• Maintain a clear chart of accounts and consistent coding rules across entities.
• Maintain books on an accrual basis and produce cash-basis views as required.
• Track and reconcile intercompany transactions between the HK and US entities.
• Handle multi-currency transactions and related FX adjustments.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for each entity, plus a consolidated view.
• Manage invoicing, collections follow-up and vendor payments.
• Produce and review AR and AP aging reports and escalate overdue items.
• Manage accruals, prepaids and deferred revenue at month-end.
• Build and maintain a rolling cash flow forecast (e.g. 13-week) and monthly budget vs. actuals.
• Explain variances and the assumptions behind each forecast.
• Track sales and use tax exposure and support filings with our CPA.
