Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3-4 years of related experience in US Accounting/Bookkeeping.
• Understanding of US GAAP, reporting standards, and accounting principles; experience with US companies preferred.
• Competency in MS Office applications and accounting software.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
• Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to book transactions properly and accurately.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Willing to work on a night shift schedule.
• Willing to work in a permanent hybrid setup.
• Willing to work on a 3-month contract (with potential for absorption based on performance.)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transactions, compliance, general accounting, and finance.
• Reconcile all accounts for multiple entities as needed.
• Handle accounts payable tasks including reviewing, coding, and payments.
• Verify financial data for AP records and support paying obligations.
• Produce financial reports from data analysis and summarization.
• Apply accounting policies and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Meet processing and reporting deadlines accurately and timely.
• Ensure payables are posted to the incurring month as charged.
• Post cash receipts to the AR ledger.
• Follow up with customers on past-due payments and maintain customer relationships.
• Maintain customer account records and AR-related admin tasks.
• Assist with process improvements and ecommerce posting automation.
