Job summary

Hive Health is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records, oversee bookkeeping and month-end close, and prepare financial statements. You will manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and coordinate audits while strengthening policies and controls.

The role includes mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The position is hybrid, based in Pasig, with onsite work twice weekly and collaboration with the Finance team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, with strong exposure to audit, general accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Experience preparing financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit schedules.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Philippine regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig twice a week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Bookkeeping and Month-End Close.
• Prepare Financial Statements and Reports.
• Manage the General Ledger and journal entries.
• Reconcile Accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure Financial Compliance with PFRS, BIR, SEC, and regulators.
• Coordinate Audits and prepare schedules.
• Maintain Policies and Internal Controls.
• Perform Financial Analysis and assist the Accounting Manager.
• Support and mentor junior accounting staff.
