Job summary

Wilmar Edible Oils Philippines, Inc. is seeking a skilled Boiler Operator/Mechanic to ensure reliable steam supply for oil milling and refinery plants. You will monitor equipment, record readings, and coordinate with maintenance teams to prevent disruptions.

You will apply Food Safety principles, participate in plant shutdowns, and maintain clean boiler and compressor areas while logging all shift activities and reporting anomalies promptly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Engineer is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience as operator or mechanic in an oil milling or manufacturing setup.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compressors, electric motors, pumps, fuel tanks and boiler auxiliaries function to supply steam.
• Records temperatures, pressures, levels of fuels and water readings and steam consumption.
• Informs Production Supervisor for any abnormalities on the boilers and performs remedial measures.
• Coordinates with shift electricians or plants mechanics for immediate repairs on defect on boilers.
• Coordinates with the Quality Assurance on results of water analysis and adjust parameters if needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper housekeeping of boilers and compressor area.
• Logs all activities in every shift.
• Assist in maintenance work during plant shutdown.
• Understand Food Safety Principles, and commits to implement safe food procedures.
• Perform other related job as required.
