Job summary

MMA Competent Manpower and General Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced boiler technician for site operations in MARIVELES, BATAAN. The role includes pump and motor operation, instrumentation knowledge, and preventive boiler maintenance.

Training in steam boiler operations is preferred. Two years of related work experience and completion of at least two years of college or a vocational program are required, with exposure to reading manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years experience as boiler technician.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic theory.
• Experience with temperature control and thermostats.
• Must be able to read equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Job description

Overall Job Description:

1. Performs all activities necessary to maintain the equipment.
2. Performs preventive maintenance and safety checks to ensure the proper and smooth operations of the boiler and other assigned machine/equipment.
3. Monitors the inventory of water treatment chemicals and ensures proper dosage.
4. Two (2) year experience in the related field is required for this position.
5. Must have a strong basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic theory and application, and be able to use manuals and other resources to apply that knowledge in boiler plant operations and other diverse requirements of the job.
6. Experience in temperature control & thermostats

Job Requirements:

1. Experienced boiler technician.
2. Experienced pumps and motor operator.
3. With basic awareness in instrumentation and controls.
4. With basic knowledge in troubleshooting boiler equipment.
5. With experience in boiler preventive maintenance.
6. Basic knowledge and ability to read equipment instruction and maintenance manuals, drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
7. Physical strength and ability sufficient to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods under wet, cold, and generally unpleasant conditions.
8. Completed at least two (2) years college education or a graduate of any vocational course.
9. At least two (2) years’ experiences as boiler technician.
10. Equipped with Steam Boiler Operations Training.
