Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a BIM/CAD Drafter in Manila to model and detail design and coordinate with multiple disciplines. You will work under a Design Engineer and BIM Job Captain to keep documents aligned with updated BIM models.

You'll export formats, participate in coordination meetings, and ensure adherence to BIM standards and project workflows. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM and CAD tools in a construction or design environment.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and coordinate design changes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• BIM modeling and CAD drafting for C&S discipline.
• Work under the Design Engineer and BIM/CAD Job Captain.
• Ensure document accuracy based on updated BIM models.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on design changes and model challenges.
• Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria.
• Follow organization BIM content standards and procedures.
• May lead development of discipline-specific BIM content.
• Print drawing sets and participate in discipline reviews.
• Prepare discipline model/content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
• Export DWF and other formats for internal/external collaboration.
• Maintain high level of communication and writing skills.
• Leverage BIM tools to coordinate design documentation.

• Work under the direction of Design Engineer and BIM and CAD Job Captain.
• Ensure construction documents accuracy based on the updated BIM Models of other disciplines.
• Able to Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines’ design changes and model challenges.
• Adhere to Project BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Strictly follow Organization BIM content standards and development procedures.
• May take the lead on developing some discipline specific BIM modeling content for project.
• Print drawing sets for professional team and participate in discipline reviews.
• Prepare own discipline model and/or content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
• Able to export DWF and other formats for collaboration internally and externally.
• High level of communication and good writing skills.
• Leveraging BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation.

Software Expectations

• Must be well-versed and knowledgeable on BIM platform such as Autodesk Revit.
• Must be well-versed in AutoCAD for drafting, detailing, drawing linkage and clean up.
• Must be knowledgeable in Design Review platform such as Autodesk Navisworks for collaboration with professional staff.
• General understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish own discipline tasks.
