Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a BIM Modeling professional for Structural design discipline. You will work under the direction of the Design Engineer and BIM Job Captain, ensuring construction documents accuracy based on updated BIM models from other disciplines and coordinating design changes.

You should be proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and have strong communication and coordination skills to support BIM workflows and project collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM workflows and coordinating multi-discipline models.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to document and present design issues clearly.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and adapt to project changes.

Responsibilities

• BIM Modeling for Structural design discipline.
• Work under direction of Design Engineer and BIM Job Captain.
• Ensure construction documents accuracy based on updated BIM Models of other disciplines.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines on design changes and model challenges.
• Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM workflow criteria.
• Follow BIM content standards and development procedures.
• May lead in developing discipline-specific BIM modeling content.
• Print drawing sets and participate in discipline reviews.
• Prepare discipline models/content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
• Export DWF and other formats for collaboration.

Software Expectations

• Must be well versed and knowledgeable on BIM platform such as Autodesk Revit.
• Must be well versed in AutoCAD – for drawing linkage and clean-up.
• Must have knowledge in Design Review platform such as Autodesk Navisworks – for collaboration with professional staff.
• General understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish own discipline tasks.
